914 Rubber is a specialty automotive repair and parts company in Hillsboro, Oregon, focused exclusively on Porsche 914 models. They approached me to modernize their logo and refresh their brand identity across print and digital touchpoints. My role was to evolve their long-standing visual presence into a cleaner, more cohesive system that better reflects their technical expertise and the precision of the classic Porsche community.

914 Rubber

VISUAL IDENTITY / ILLUSTRATION
    • I redesigned the 914 Rubber logo to create a more contemporary and scalable mark that still honored the heritage of the Porsche 914.

    • I developed an updated visual identity system, including typography, color palette, and branding guidelines for consistent use.

    • I produced branded assets for both print and digital applications, ensuring the new identity translated cleanly across business cards, signage, packaging, and online platforms.

    • Updating a legacy brand with a loyal niche audience while maintaining the spirit and authenticity associated with classic Porsche culture.

    • Ensuring the logo worked across a wide range of physical and digital automotive-related materials, from small parts packaging to workshop signage.

    • Balancing modern design expectations with the mechanical, vintage character of the 914 automotive community.

    • Developed a unified visual identity and comprehensive brand guidelines that strengthened 914 Rubber’s market positioning, making the brand more recognizable and consistent across all customer touchpoints.

    • Created a flexible illustration system and design assets that reduced reliance on expensive external vendors, streamlining content creation and saving costs over time.

    • Established standardized brand elements and templates that empowered internal teams to produce on‑brand marketing materials efficiently, improving delivery speed and reducing redesign expenses.
